BERG Spanntechnik opens service point for forming technology in the USA

With over 11 million automobiles produced, the USA is the second largest car manufacturer market in the world. BERG Spanntechnik has been active in this important market for decades and is now intensifying its service business for the product segment forming technology.

With Bilz Tool Company, Inc. based in Lombard, IL and a further office in Detroit, MI we have now gained a technically highly experienced partner for this business model. The aim is to offer even better spare parts and repair services for selected customers. A high level of technical competence around the BERG products is a prerequisite for a successful range of services. For this reason Mr. Olaf Sandkühler from Bilz completed a multi-week intensive training course at our company headquarter in Bielefeld. Mr. Sandkühler studied mechanical engineering in Esslingen and is working as an engineer for Bilz in the USA for 15 years. The training was organized by Andreas Krieger from our technical sales department.

Everybody draw a consistently positive conclusion of these intensive weeks. Especially Mr. Sandkühler himself values his time with BERG as a very positive experience. During the final review our managing director Klaus Wehmeyer praised the willingness to learn and work as well as the flexibility of Mr. Sandkühler and hopes for an initial spark for the American market.

Hopefully we can reap the first fruits of this cooperation in the near future.
