SSKV grippers are primarily designed for drawing in and ejecting steep taper tools provided with pull studs internationally standardized as per DIN, ANSI, MAS, JIS and ISO which allow fast, automatic tool changes.

Actuation is mechanical, hydraulic, electromechanical or pneumatic.
